Custom Quilting is per hour including the design time. Email me to discuss what your ideas are.
My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.

Thread
I stock Glide #40 weight thread. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price. My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Batting
I use American Fiber Products batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% cotton, and 100% bamboo. I currently source my batting from Nanc's Got Your Back. She has a variety of weight, fiber and colors.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting (96" wide) except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.
65" of 4oz Bamboo @ $0.43/in = $27.95
65" of 100% cotton deluxe loft @ $0.40/in = $26.00
65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.33/in = $21.45
65" of 100% poly @ $0.28/in = $18.20
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Fort Worth TX, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of plastic sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly. Pat Sloan has a great video on packaging your quilts for shipping. Here is the link to that page. Ship A Quilt
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuable quilts against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the State of Texas to collect a 8.25% sales tax on the quilting service portion of an invoice.
