What's fun about Becky and Big Red Quilting

I started quilting in 2013 at the urging of my husband. We had no idea what he was getting us into! After finishing that first quilt I was hooked! I had it quilted at a local shop and loved the idea of picking the thread and designs. As the quilts piled up I decided to try renting time on a longarm and I LOVED it! It wasn't much longer before I got my Handi Quiltier Avante with ProStitcher in 2019. A year later, I unexpectedly had a lot of time on my hands so I finished most of that unfinished pile of quilts. With Husband working at home too, we enclosed our living and dining rooms to make a sewing studio. Now all my quilting fun is in one room with a door to keep the pets out when needed. 

I am a Cornhusker fan and have found a great group of other Nebraska transplants to cheer with! We have two pets Watson and Trinity the cat. My husband and I have been to Disney World twice for the Disney Races. We have now run a race in 4 states. Not sure we'll get to do a race in all 50 states. My husband is a wonderful woodworker and has created many beautiful items for our home. He is a wonderful craftsman and always encourages me to try new things.
